The side effects of caffeine withdrawal are absolutely horrendous and are directly parralel with the amount you intake. Generally speaking it's like all things I'm afraid Nichole... moderation is the key, a few cups a day are unlikely to have a negative effect but beyond that, you're probably dependant. I can't sleep if I have caffeine in the evening and never have more than 3 cups/doses a day, remember it's in fizzy drinks and chocolate too!!
